Anxiety around Botox?
Our take
Anxiety around Botox is completely normal, especially when you’re navigating the world of skincare at 28 (almost 29). With concerns about wrinkles, particularly your 11s and under-eye creases, it’s understandable that you’re considering baby Botox. Many rave about their experiences and wish they’d started sooner. However, your history with acne and scarring raises valid questions about how Botox may affect your skin. Let's dive into the factors to consider, empowering you to make an informed decision while embracing your unique beauty journey.
I am 28 (almost 29) and I have been noticing wrinkles more and more. Mainly my 11s, around my nose, every time I smile my under eyes crease a lot therefore I’ve been considering Botox. Almost all the reviews I see is people loving it and regretting not getting it sooner. I’d love to potentially get some baby Botox. My worry is that my skin is not the best. I dealt with terrible acne in my teens and I have a lot of scarring on my face, I also had bad redness everywhere and I occasionally still get acne. I’m not sure if this will ever have an impact on Botox or not or if I’m just overthinking. Please advise

- Opinions pleaseHello everyone I got 100 units of dysport in my forehead for the first time the last weekend of February I just went back on Monday for a small touch up because im having my wedding next weekend and wanted to be just a bit more frozen. I got a facial today to shave my face & she did put some pressure on my forehead. It’s been 3 days since I got the touch up, I’ve gone down a rabbit hole on doing this & im kind of freaking out. Yes I know i shouldn’t have gotten the facial, but was hoping for somebody to calm me down - possibly someone who knows & has gotten Botox/dysport for awhile. I’m worried the little bit she added on Monday is going to migrate into a part of my face it shouldn’t & kill me. Thank you 🤍 submitted by /u/leighhsommaa_63 [link] [comments]
