Brow Lamination Oops! My Brows Went Orange—Help!
Brow tint/lamination help !

Oh, the glorious chaos of beauty experiments! We’ve all been there, haven’t we? That moment when you step out of the salon, feeling like a sculpted goddess, only to catch a glimpse of yourself in unforgiving daylight and… oops. For our dear /u/maddggvvh00k, this particular oops involved eyebrows that went from naturally ashy to a shade that’s giving “sun-kissed… maybe a bit too much sun?” We’re talking a tint that decided to go rogue, turning those beautifully laminated arches into something closer to bleached blonde. It’s the kind of sartorial (or should we say, superciliary?) emergency that can derail your entire mood, and we totally get the panic. The desire to slap on some brow gel and pretend it’s all part of the avant-garde look? Relatable.

The instinct to grab any dye in sight and attempt a DIY rescue mission is strong, we know. But here's where a little bit of playful caution comes in. While the allure of immediate correction is tempting, diving headfirst into another round of tinting without understanding *why* this happened can lead to a whole new level of brow-related drama. Think of it like this: you wouldn't wear a couture gown to a mud-wrestling match, right? Similarly, applying a strong dye without considering the current state of your brows and the potential for further chemical reactions is a gamble. We’re all about embracing the confidence that comes with a fresh look, but we also champion the power of informed decisions, even when the situation feels like a glamorous mishap.

So, what’s the strategy when your brows have embarked on an unexpected citrus journey? Patience, my friend, is a virtue, especially in the world of beauty. Sometimes, these things just need a little time to settle. A gentle cleansing routine might help to lift some of that unwanted pigment, and there are also specialized brow removers designed for this very purpose, though using them requires a careful hand. If all else fails, and the orange hue is truly holding your confidence hostage, a professional consultation is your best bet. A skilled brow technician can assess the situation, potentially reverse the tint safely, or recommend a color correction that brings your brows back to their naturally chic, ashy glory. It’s all about navigating the bumps in the road with a dash of humor and a whole lot of self-care.

Before vs after (sorry for the zoom in hahah)

Hi! I got my eyebrows laminated and tinted for the first time on Saturday. I love the lamination and shape but the tint turned my naturally darker ashy brows orange and lightened them…. They almost look bleached. I don’t know what to do. I’ve read posts about them being too dark and fading nicely but mine are TOO light and look terrible. Can I dye them myself with eyebrow dye?? Right now I’m just putting eyebrow gel on them to darken them to match my natural. Help !!!
