Deodorant and showering

Our take

Navigating the delicate balance between deodorant application and morning showers can feel like a fashion dilemma! Many have discovered that applying deodorant before bed boosts its effectiveness, but the desire for a refreshing morning shower complicates things. If you notice a difference in odor when applying deodorant solely post-shower, consider rinsing with water in the morning instead of using soap. This way, you can enjoy your shower while preserving the protective barrier of your evening application.

I’ve found that my deodorants work sooo much better if I put them on before I go to bed. But in the mornings I want to shower. So how do I do this without washing off the deodorant??? If I put deodorant on only after I shower (not before bed/evening) I notice a big difference in the BO smell. Should I just rinse with water when I shower in the morning? I like to shower in the morning as I sweat a bit in my sleep lol
