Does anyone else shave their face? As a proud "peach fuzz girly," I've been embracing facial shaving for two years now, and I swear my makeup glides on smoother while my skin looks cleaner and brighter. However, I can't shake the worry that it might lead to darkened skin over time, especially around the mustache and lip area, like some form of hyperpigmentation. Plus, my mom is totally against it, fearing my hair will grow back thicker and pricklier, like men’s!
as a peach fuzz girly, i’ve been shaving my face for 2 years and i always find my makeup goes on better and my skin looks cleaner and brighter.
but i always worry that shaving my face will darken the skin overtime, specially around the stache/lips area, like some sort of hyperpigmentation.
plus, my mom is strongly against the idea of facial shaving because the hair might grow back pricklier and thicker like men’s!

- Facial hair removalI’ve always had thick dark hair on my arms and I’m comfortable with it. But as an adult I notice I have thicker “peach fuzz” (to me it seems like a full on beard) on my face. My mustache grows in dark aswell. And I have these 2 stubborn thick eyebrow type hairs that grow, one on my chin and another on my cheek. - Is this true?I am 17 years old and am going to turn 18 soon. My insecurity is my facial hair, especially around the upper part of my lips, which makes it look like a slight moustache. Now the thing is, I want to shave my facial and neck hair so that I have a smoother base for skincare and makeup. But so many people around me, especially my mom, say that once you shave your facial hair, they grow back thicker. Is this true? As this is the only thing holding me back.
