doooo not like my lash perm

Our take

So, I just had a lash perm done by my mom, who's an esthetician, and honestly, my lashes look exactly the same—no lift at all! Now I’m reading that using a lash curler or waterproof mascara right after a perm isn’t recommended. But that’s all I have! Has anyone else experienced this? And does anyone know if wearing waterproof mascara right before the perm could have affected the results? I’m feeling a bit lost here, and I’d love to hear your thoughts!

my mom ( an esthetician ) just did a lash perm on me and literally nothing about my lashes changed at all. now I'm reading that it's not recommended to use a lash curler until after your lashes have a regrowth and not to use waterproof mascara ( that's the only mascara that I have and use ). has anyone had any experience using either a lash curler or water proof mascara after their lash perm ( or both ). also i had on waterproof mascara right before my lash perm ( if that had any impact on how much lift my lashes actually got 😅😅 )
