Espresso Linen and Olive Pleats for the office

Our take

Embracing a rich forest and soil palette, I’ve fallen in love with the espresso linen and olive pleats for the office, inspired by the Velasca S/S 26 Lookbook. By swapping a bright white tee for an off-white cream, I’ve created a natural transition into these deep earth tones. The unstructured linen blazer paired with high-rise pleats offers the perfect silhouette while adhering to the rule of thirds, elongating my frame beautifully.

I’ve been leaning into this darker forest and soil palette lately (in the footsteps of the Velasca S/S 26 Lookbook) and this espresso and olive combo is one of my favorite versions of it.

The main goal was to keep the contrast low so I swapped a bright white tee for off-white/cream It makes the transition to those deep earth tones feel a lot more natural and ‘organic’.

I focused on how the proportions and textures play together. The high-rise pleats give me the silhouette I want *specifically* because the linen blazer is unstructured. comboing that with the high rise pleats gives me that rule of thirds that helps elongate my frame in a really nice way too. I finished this fit with my dark brown suede penny loafers that give it enough depth and match that chocolate brown theme to have it all come together nicely.

Really happy with how this turned out and felt great wearing it all day!
