I recently got a pretty quick hair cut (~30 minutes), where I trimmed about three inches and added in more layers. The layers look kind of awful to me? I also have stick straight hair so maybe that’s why? just wondering if people think this is a haircut thing or a hair type thing. I’m also probably going to use heatless curls 60% of the time with this cut- or maybe go to a different hair dresser

Framing pieces look severely damaged??I’ve always had long layers in my hair for years and the framing pieces have always looked somewhat damaged but now it looks a lot worse and it’s so see through, the way it lays down doesn’t look good at all. I just got a hair trim a few months ago, I got 3 inches taken off. I always get a straight cut with face framing layers but I make sure they don’t get cut as short. I don’t know what to do. I’m thinking about just getting it all straight cut with no layers at all, but then that won’t take care of the current damaged layers unless I was to get the layers cut even shorter. Can anyone suggest me what I should do???
