How do I improve my natural smell?
Our take
Title - what do you guys do to smell good before adding products (perfume etc)? Im seeing stuff online about people managing to smell of spices and flowers naturally (thats what theyre heavily insinuating anyway lool), if thats not clickbait id like to get myself in that ballpark
I'm a guy, and 1 I sweat a LOT, 2 I for the life of me can't get my breath in check, 3 if i start sweating its basically game over, i need a shower and new tshirt
any tips/habit changes appreciated, below is what I do atm:
*diet* - mostly carbs and meat...
*clothes* - everything except trousers (2 days) go in the laundry after 1 day - viscose tshirts (i noticed one cotton tshirt i recently bought smelt perfectly fine after a 6h flight..... maybe theres something there?)
*bed* - I aim to change the sheets weekly, id be lying if i said that was the case irl
*teeth* - usually 2x/day, if im going out and can taste my breath an extra brushing is in order - brush is changed..... eventually - I also brush my tongue, unless I forget
*Shower* - regular bar of soap (i have a preference for russian household soap) all over, 1x/day, 2x on hot summer days
Thats all I can think of,
TYIA

- How to smell better?I’ll be taking part in a course in May, and the my home is a 10 min ride (30-40 min walk) away from the nearest bus station. I’m also on a fitness journey so I’m thinking of walking to the bus station. The only thing concerning me is that I live in a tropical country, so summers are brutal. I’ll probably be sweating a lot if I walk that much, and there won’t be any showers or changing areas in the institute. I’m thinking that since there’s a 1hr bus ride before the class starts, I’ll be able to cool off and wont be drenched in sweat by the time I get there. That leaves the smell. What should I start doing to remove BO/smell better naturally that it won’t be a problem for me if I start to walk a lot? submitted by /u/Responsible-Might206 [link] [comments]
- Any products to help smell good?Hey, so i seem to have a body odour problem. not like BO, just a scent my body releases i guess. i never noticed but my friend said when i stayed at her house for a week i smelled funny. i shower pretty regularly like once a day, and try to do a skincare routine pretty often. I am on the larger side so that could be a contributing factor. Is there any products that i could be applying to help with this? like lotion of some kind. Let me know please. 🙏 submitted by /u/ChainMiddle2764 [link] [comments]
- HOW DO I MAKE PERFUME LAST LONGER?? UGHHHI am 21/F and I am someone who sweats MASSIVELY. You could say that I tend to get a tad bit stinky when I start sweating. Like when I enter s room with the ac on, i can smell my sweat :( I've tried multiple things. I've used perfumes, lotions, perfumes on top of lotion, lotion right after bath, bodywise underarm roll on, and perfume with vaseline as base so it last longer. Nothing works. The same good "long lasting" perfume last veryy longer in my sister but when I use it, the minute I step out of the house, gone. Not trace. At all. Do I bathe myself with lotion? What should I do? I really wanna be that kinda girl who makes you think "oh she smeels great" when they walk past :( submitted by /u/_gandikbot_ [link] [comments]
