How do you find your person at the nail salon?

Our take

Finding your go-to nail tech at the salon can feel like a treasure hunt, especially when you long for that blissful pampering experience. Remember those days of guaranteed massages that left you floating? I certainly do! I once discovered a gem in Pensacola, where the owner prioritized cleanliness and relaxation, creating a spa-like vibe without the hefty price tag. So, how do you find your nail salon soulmate?

I miss the days when going to the salon meant I was going to get a 10-15 minute massage guaranteed and it was actually going to be great.

A couple years back I got a pedi at a small shop in Pensacola, Florida of all places and the woman who owned the shop seemed passionate about the cleanliness and relaxation aspect of the service. I longgggg for her and have not had an experience like that since. Her nail techs all seemed equally passionate and even though the place had a Woodhouse Spa vibe, it was a standard price

How do you find a good salon? Is there a process to figuring out who your nail tech is? I don’t go often enough to find out and end up giving up, but I really would like to pamper myself in this way without it costing $100+ for one basic service.
