How to manage aging
Our take
Aging gracefully can feel like a daunting challenge, especially when you notice signs that don’t align with how you feel inside. At 33, feeling self-conscious about your skin is completely valid, especially when comparing yourself to peers. Despite leading a healthy lifestyle, stress and sun exposure can take a toll. Fortunately, there are effective skincare routines, masks, and treatments that can help rejuvenate your complexion without breaking the bank.
33F, my face skin is aging badly.
I look much older than I am, and I'm self-conscious because I can clearly see that women my age have much clearer skin than mine. I feel like I'm 10 years older.
I've always eaten a healthy diet, with few processed foods. I've been vegetarian since my twenties, I exercise a lot, and I rarely go out partying.
I know I'm a stressed person, and I grew up in a very sunny part of the world, but I'm still surprised by the state of my skin, and I'd like to counteract that.
I'm not rich, but if you know of any skincare routines, masks or treatments to use, or creams to prioritize, I'd love to hear them.

- Face changes due to stress and anxietyHi! In recent years, I’ve gone through a lot of difficult experiences in my life. I’ve dealt with a lot of chronic stress and anxiety, as well as fatigue/exhaustion and sadness. Last year, I went through a breakup that hurt me deeply, and since then I’ve felt unhappy and cried a lot for several months. My face has changed since that time, the area under my eyes looks more hollow, as if there’s less fat, and it seems like my face has sagged downward. I also look much older than before, as if I aged 10 years all at once. I’m 29 years old, and I don’t feel good like this. 😔 Despite all my efforts over the past few months to try to fix this (diet, supplements, marine collagen, skincare routine), I haven’t been able to get my old face back, and I don’t know what to do anymore. Has this happened to any of you? Do you have any solutions to suggest? Do you think my face will go back to how it was one day, or is it unlikely without surgery/aesthetic treatments? Thank you 🌸 submitted by /u/Mysterious_6860 [link] [comments]
- How to start anti-aging in your 20s without overcomplicating it?I wanna age well but everything online is overwhelming. Skincare routines, supplements, workouts, diets… feels like you need 20 things just to keep up submitted by /u/vitaminZaman [link] [comments]
- weird face skin at 20Hi, I’m 20 and feel ugly because of my skin. I never had major acne issues. I started wearing sunscreen everyday a few months ago. I don’t know how to fix my skin : I’m quite pale but still have an uneven skin tone, dark circles and overall dull looking skin that makes me look like i haven’t slept for a week and live on redbull and candy even though i don’t. I wear skin makeup and feel pretty with it but it’s getting tiring not being able to do so when i’m bare faced. I feel like I have the skin of a 50 year old minus the wrinkles. What do I do ? submitted by /u/Then_Tonight7224 [link] [comments]
