I just got my eyebrows threaded and I HATE it
Our take
I(17F) just got my eyebrows threaded and I would literally do anything to turn back time to stop myself. This was my first time and I had specifically told the person that I DID NOT want angular/sharp edged brows. Still, she proceeds to give me exactly that. When I objected, she said that that was the shape of my brows, hence she did that. My face looks bigger, and my resting face was bitchy enough, now even my happy face looks bitchy, like I HATE it.
Please let me know if there are any good alternatives for doing my brows myself, so I can get them to look softer from the next time. This is a disaster, but I am glad I got it done a month before a big event, otherwise I would have literally cried if I had gotten it done near that time.

- Brows help!!Hi!!! I am asking for brow advice. I typically tweeze them and shape them a bit with the lil razor thing that I use for my mustache too. But I would love a longer term solution. I don’t wear makeup daily and I prefer a natural look but I find they cramp my style… They are not plentiful… and they have two different shapes to them. Micro blading… brow tinting… threading… I just don’t know what to try 🥴 I’m not looking to really increase volume as I’m hoping to increase agreement between their shapes, and have an overall more well-kempt look. A tad more volume wouldn’t “bother” me but I definitely don’t want to deal with buyers remorse as they are quite blonde so I fear anything major will freak me out…. - Just want neat brows --pls helpI have long bristly black beetle brows. I'm happy with the shape and I trim them, but I'm sick of how how they stick straight out or at wild angles. I've tried wax/gel but this does nothing at all. Eyelash glue works to a degree, but still have a lot of bristling. The first time I did lamination it came out really nice but the last two times they came out crispy and still unruly. Please can someone help. submitted by /u/LineAncient2792 [link] [comments]
- what can i do to save my eyebrows!!my brows are like 100% botched right now. thank goodness i have bangs to make em less noticeable, but im not happy with their shape and condition rn. i’ve always had big exaggerated brows and i hated them, i felt too masculine and it just wasn’t for me. the last pic, though i apologize its not so clear, is probably my favorite brow phase. Straight, thin but not invisible, the slant was perfect. i totally wanna revert to that because i felt most confident with that brow shape. pls help!!! submitted by /u/mackenzielolz [link] [comments]
- Need help with my eyebrows. Want to look less angryI’m not quite sure what’s wrong with my eyebrows or how to try and fix it. I know they’re sisters and not twins; one eyebrow is naturally set higher than the other and it looks a lot worse when I smile. But they also naturally tilt downward. I naturally have kind of a RBF so I feel like my eyebrows make me look more angry along with it. I’m not sure if I should try and grow them out and redo them altogether, but if I were to, how would I better shape them to avoid this? Or is the issue that they are too dark which makes them more prominent? submitted by /u/Queen_Rat_Lady [link] [comments]
