Navigating the world of beauty can feel like a glamorous yet chaotic journey, especially when trying to balance a minimal daily routine with the desire to look fabulous for special occasions. If you're questioning whether investing time and money into products and techniques is worth it, you're not alone. Many women grapple with the overwhelming choices at beauty retailers like Ulta and Sephora and wonder if their efforts yield the desired results.
I have a pretty minimal routine for day to day, but sometimes for the weekends or special occasions I try to do a full face of makeup and my hair. It's takes a lot of time and I feel like it doesn't turn out the way that I want it to. I'm not sure at this point if it's my products, my techniques or my lack of practice. Going to Ulta and Sephora are really overwhelming and I'd hate to waste money trying things that don't work. I'm also getting older and in a weird place where I'm wondering if it's worth it to try to invest in beauty or just let it go. I guess for the women who spend the hours on skincare/makeup/hair, is it worth it?
