Lips look bad with any lip product

Hey there, fellow lip enthusiasts! If you’re struggling with dry, cracked lips that seem to rebel against any lip product—be it lipstick, gloss, or stain—you’re not alone! Despite staying hydrated and even exfoliating with a toothbrush, some lips just have a mind of their own. And for the record, no lip fillers here! 😂 I’ve tried Vaseline, but it doesn’t quite cut it. I’m eager to hear your suggestions and tips to bring some life back to my pout. Thanks in advance for your help!

Hello! How do I stop my lips from cracking and getting dry like this whenever I put lip(stick, gloss, stain)? I tried using Vaseline but it doesn’t really work for me.

Edit: Thanks to everyone and their suggestions! I will definitely try and look into them more! (I’m somehow getting downvoted on this post lol.)
Points to add:
• I do stay hydrated ☺️ It’s really just my lips that get dry easily
• I use my toothbrush to exfoliate my lips
• I don’t have lip filler! 😂
