I hadn’t really ever thought about wearing makeup in middle school or throughout high school. it just never came to me I guess but I did always feel a bit jealous that everyone suddenly looked so nice wearing makeup in high school but never committed to it because I had a strict mom at the time and she didn’t really teach me where to start. now that I’m out of highschool I had a friend help teach me the basics starting with foundation, concealer, some mascara and thats about it. but im not really sure what else I need and what else I could possibly use? i really like the fake lashes but no clue how to put them on or what type there is🥲 also worried that the base looks a bit too dark on me? any tips or videos I could watch? what brands are good and what routine do I need to follow, concealer first or base?

- Will the 40+ crowd give me some recommendations on YouTubers (or other videos) to watch?I never put a ton of work into studying makeup application, but I’ve been trying to take steps to help me feel better about my appearance lately. I am not on TikTok. When I look up videos on YouTube, they say “light” makeup, but they’re painting on primer, foundation, powder, all the product, and setting spray. Any recommendations, assuming decent skin (I don’t need a ton of primer or foundation + powder), for just good tips? Looking for basic eyeshadow, blush, lip lining, etc without caking things on. - Restarting my makeup journey !So my beautiful people, i’ve been doing my own makeup for the past few years but i’m finally ready for an upgrade. Previous routine : 1. Moisturiser 2. Primer 3.
