Matted/Tangled Hair

Our take

We've all been there—life gets chaotic, and self-care takes a backseat. For the past few weeks, I've been navigating a rough patch, resulting in my hair turning into a tangled mess. With long hair, it's been all too easy to just throw it in a bun and forget about it. But now, I'm facing the dreaded possibility of a chop if I don’t act fast! I have a hair appointment next Thursday, and my stylist recommended using tea tree oil shampoo and conditioner daily.

For the past three weeks or so, I’ve been in a sort of depressive episode and have let my hair get matted and tangled extremely bad. I have relatively long hair, so if I had to go anywhere I would just throw it in a bun and call it a day. Well, it’s gotten to the point where I realize if I don’t take control of this mess now, I may have to cut all my hair off which I rather not do. I have an appointment with a hair dresser next Thursday to see if she can help and she advised me to wash my hair with tea tree oil shampoo/conditioner everyday. Does anyone else have any recommendations to make this detangling process smoother? Or any product recommendations? Thank you so much in advance! ❤️
