Morning skincare routine?
Our take

| Hi. I’ve been trying to improve my morning skincare routine lately and wanted to get into more K-beauty products. My skin is on the combination side, and I’m looking for something lightweight and hydrating that layers well under makeup without feeling heavy. I’m especially interested in a gentle cleanser, a good toner or essence for hydration, a simple serum (maybe vitamin C or something soothing), and a solid sunscreen since that’s probably the most important step for me right now. If you have any K-beauty products you really swear by, I’d love to hear your recommendations. I’m also open to hearing your full morning routine if you’ve found something that works really well. - [Routine Help] Acne-prone/oily skin, large pores, acne scars + lightweight SPF recommendations? (Interested in Centella/K-beauty)Hi everyone! I’ve been trying to build a proper skincare routine and thought this would be a good place to ask for honest recommendations from people who actually use these products. I’ve recently been hearing a lot about Korean skincare, especially Centella products, and I’d love some advice on where to start. Skin concerns: Acne-prone skin (had acne since I was around 13, currently 22) Combination to oily skin (used Accutane about 5 years ago, so it’s less oily than before, but still definitely leans oily) Large pores / blackheads -Mild acne scarring and post-acne marks -Dullness/lack of glow so I’m guessing I mainly need help with: serum recommendations, moisturiser recommendations, lightweight SPF recommendations (very important because I hate heavy/suffocating sunscreens), products that help with a natural glow without making me greasy... I also realised I don’t fully understand ingredients yet. For example, I think ingredients like BHA/salicylic acid or niacinamide help with pores and blackheads, but I’ve mostly just followed dermatologist recommendations in the past without really understanding what each product actually did. So if anyone could also explain: which ingredients are best for pores/blackheads, acne scars/post-acne marks, and oily skin, I’d really appreciate it. If you’ve personally used Centella products (or any other products you genuinely loved for similar skin concerns), I’d love to hear your experiences. Thanks so much 💛 submitted by /u/kathykens [link] [comments]
- 25 and my skin looks ROUGH, help!!Hi! I am a 25F with skin that shouldn't look as bad as it does. Wrinkles on my forehead, lots of texture, and dark spots from acne. My skin is hard to read in terms of oily vs dry but it is acne prone and definitely can get dry at times and oily at other times. Right now, this has been my night routine for a few months. It hasn't been great in eliminating lines, spots or texture but my skin has felt more hydrated. - Round lab foam cleanser - Anua peach toner - Prescription tret - Cetaphil daily moisturizing lotion for dry sensitive skin I am ashamed to admit it but in the morning I usually just throw on SPF 50 and call it good. I have been doing some research but I am getting kinda overwhelmed with all the info I am getting. Would these be better routines to match my needs? Do any of these products interact? Night: - Ma:nyo pure cleansing oil - Vanicream cleanser - Byoma milky toner - Prescription tret/The Ordinary Azelaic acid suspension 10% cream, alternating every other day - Avene Cicalfate protective cream Morning: - Vanicream cleanser - Byoma milky toner - SPF moisturizer submitted by /u/ranch518 [link] [comments]
