Outdoor odor stuck to hair
Our take
Have you ever noticed your hair picking up outdoor odors, especially with the warm weather? One user recently shared their experience with hair that constantly smells like “outside,” despite using high-quality products like Pureology shampoo and conditioner. They struggle with daily washing due to dryness, and their wavy, frizzy hair is colored every eight weeks. This raises the question: could hair porosity be to blame? If you've faced similar issues or found solutions, join the conversation and share your tips for tackling this fragrant predicament!
For the last year or so I’ve noticed a change in the way my hair smells. Once it starts to get warm my hair picks up all of the odors outside. My hair constantly. smells like “outside” if that makes sense. I use purology shampoo, conditioner, leave in conditioner, then follow up with diffuser and hair oil. I can’t wash my hair daily because it drys it out. Has anyone found a fix for this? Does it have to do with the porosity of my hair? I have wavy sort of frizzy hair that I color every 8 weeks or so.
