Recently started using mascara after years of lashes

Our take

After years of relying on lashes since 11th grade, I recently made the switch back to mascara, but it hasn't been smooth sailing. I can’t seem to keep my concealer from creasing once I apply the mascara, and there's always a little smudge to clean up afterward. I’ve tried doing mascara first, but that makes applying concealer a hassle, often pushing my lashes down or getting product on them. Any tips on achieving that flawless look without the chaos?

I stopped wearing lashes a couple months ago after wearing them since 11th grade (6 years of never being seen without lashes in public) and I’ve started using mascara but I can’t seem to stop it from making my concealer crease and I apply the mascara once I have my base down and after applying mascara there’s always smudge i gotta clean up after that wipe away the concealer. I’ve tried to do my mascara first but applying concealer on my eyelid is a hassle and ends up pushing my lashes down or getting concealer on them any tips?
