Our Take: The post-Red Light Therapy Glow-Up: What’s Your Secret Sauce?

So, we’ve all seen the chic, glowing faces popping up everywhere, and the latest obsession seems to be Red Light Therapy (RLT). Our friend /u/RadInternetHandle has jumped into the RLT arena, mask in tow, and is already feeling the chill vibes and seeing potential. The big question on the table? What’s the magic potion to slather on *immediately* after basking in that therapeutic glow? It’s that golden hour for your skin, where it’s practically begging for a nutrient boost, and the thought of wasting that opportunity is, frankly, a little terrifying. Right now, it’s hyaluronic acid and a familiar moisturizer, but the curiosity is piqued: what else can truly amplify those RLT results?

This is where the real fun begins, because the world of skincare is a glamorous, sometimes chaotic, playground. We’re talking about maximizing that post-RLT absorption, and the possibilities are as exciting as a surprise front-row seat. Are we looking at the powerhouse punch of peptides, which are like tiny messengers telling your skin to get to work on those signs of aging? Or perhaps the vibrant energy of antioxidants, like Vitamin C, though the timing is indeed a valid concern – we wouldn't want to accidentally outshine the red light itself! The beauty of this is that there isn't one single answer, but rather a spectrum of brilliant options, each with its own unique charm and potential to make your skin sing.

Ultimately, the move right after your RLT session is about embracing that empowered feeling your skin is radiating. It’s about being confident in your choices and understanding that while the red light is doing its foundational work, the right serum can be the perfectly tailored accessory to elevate the entire ensemble. Think of it as the final flourish to your personal glamour routine. While we love a good hyaluronic acid, exploring options like peptides or carefully timed antioxidants could be the key to unlocking that next level of radiance. It’s a journey of discovery, and the best part is that your skin is along for the ride, soaking it all up with what we can only imagine is a newfound, post-therapy delight.

From Beauty

Okay, I've started the RLT. My mask arrived last week, and I've been using it pretty much every other night.

I'm really enjoying it so far. It's surprisingly comfy and nice way to chill out. My main goals are tackling general signs of aging and hopefully see results. My question is, what's the move right after a session? I feel like my skin just drinks up whatever I put on it, and I don't want to waste that opportunity. Right now, I’m just using a simple hyaluronic acid serum and my usual moisturizer.
