Restarting my makeup journey !
Our take
In recent times, the world of makeup has shifted from simply being a daily routine to becoming a bold statement of self-expression. This pivot is especially exciting for someone like me who’s been through my own makeup journey, recognizing that feeling in control of my look is empowering. What’s changed is the desire to elevate this routine into something truly special—one that balances glamour with a touch of whimsy. The thought of incorporating powdering and those intricate steps I’ve previously overlooked is both thrilling and daunting, as it signals a step into a more refined chapter.
What draws me to this transformation is the idea of making my look feel intentional, almost theatrical. I’ve always appreciated the artistry of makeup, but now I’m curious how to blend it with confidence and creativity. This shift isn’t just about products; it’s about mindset. It’s about embracing the process itself as part of my personal brand. By expanding my routine, I’m not only enhancing my appearance but also reinforcing my message: that beauty can be both sophisticated and playful.
The community around makeup is thriving on this evolution, and I’m eager to see how others are interpreting this new approach. The excitement lies in sharing not just what I’m doing, but why it matters. As I experiment with different products and techniques, I’m reminded that authenticity and creativity go hand in hand. This isn’t about perfection—it’s about progress, and it feels liberating to take that leap.
Looking ahead, I’m hopeful that this updated routine will resonate with readers who value both elegance and personality. It’s a reminder that fashion isn’t static; it’s a conversation, and I’m eager to contribute to that ongoing dialogue. What’s next for this makeup journey? I can’t wait to see where it leads.
So my beautiful people, i’ve been doing my own makeup for the past few years but i’m finally ready for an upgrade.
Previous routine :
1. Moisturiser
2. Primer
3. Foundation
4. Concealer (sometimes)
5. Blush
6. Mascara
7. Lip liner
8. Lipstick
9. Lipgloss
This routine was fine…basic but i’m not really feeling it anymore. I’m also starting college soon so I need a full on whimsical one. This time I wanna include powdering and all the imp steps i’ve previously missed.
I wanna switch bw soft and glam when needed 🎀
Makeup enthusiasts please give some advices- tips and tricks, a routine, makeup tuts I should watch or products you swear by!
I’ve extended my budget so it’s not a problem!
