What moisturizer should I use?

Our take

Finding the right moisturizer for dry, texture-prone skin can feel like navigating a fashion week runway. With dry patches on your cheeks and an oily T-zone, it’s crucial to choose a product that balances hydration without feeling heavy. While Neutrogena Hydro Boost has been your go-to, it might not be tackling those stubborn flaky spots. CeraVe offers excellent options, but if the moisturizing cream feels too rich, consider the PM lotion for a lighter touch.

I have dry skin and dry patches on my cheeks, redness, easily irritated eye area, texture-prone, and oily on the T-zone.

I’ve been using Neutrogena hydro-boost for a while now, but I notice that it doesn’t do quite good on my dry patches, especially flaky parts on my nose.

I’ve recently been eyeing CeraVe moisturizers since my mother gave me the CeraVe moisturizing cream, but i feel that it’s quite heavy for me. I went to the mall to buy the CeraVe pm moisturizing lotion, but the sales asked me if I have sensitive skin and I shook my head. She told me that my skin wouldn’t appreciate it since it’s mild.

I’ve also been eyeing Clinique dramatically different moisturizing gel but I’m not sure about it since I haven’t found a lot of information about it yet.
