Warning about MyWed – 10-year member, sudden ranking drop, accusation of “manipulation”, and account blocked

I want to share my experience with MyWed because I think photographers should be aware of how situations like this can be handled.
I have been a paying member on MyWed for about 10 years. During all that time I never had any problems with the platform.
Recently I renewed my subscription again for around 800 days. Shortly after the renewal, I noticed that my ranking suddenly dropped by about 40 positions.
I contacted support politely to ask what happened.
Their reply was that they believe I “manipulated” the system. However, they never explained what exactly I supposedly did wrong. I asked multiple times for clarification so I could understand the issue, but I never received a clear answer.
Instead, they told me that I must delete all of my photos and then wait 6 months before asking them if I can start again from zero.
I also asked why I was never warned or notified before taking such a serious action on my account. If I had known there was any issue, I would not have renewed my subscription for such a long period.
Because of this, I asked if they could at least refund the remaining time of the subscription that I had just paid for.
The result was that my account was completely blocked.
Fortunately, I opened a dispute through PayPal.
I’m sharing this because after 10 years on the platform, this was very surprising. If anyone else has experienced similar issues with MyWed rankings or accusations of “manipulation”, I would be interested to hear your experience.
