I can’t tell if this bday outfit matches or not, does it look good?

I wanna wear an all white fit for my bday dinner, I don’t wanna wear a full on fancy fit, but something kinda nice. I can’t tell if this skirt matches with this top. They’re both dif textures , I think the mixing of materials is giving Pinterest , but sister said it looks weird, but idk it kinda looks good to me? But ofc the words of my sister is getting to me. HELP my dinner is Tuesday night.
