Advice on hair styling and routine?

Advice on hair styling and routine?

I’m 34 and have been insecure about my hair since mid-20s because I used to have more of it (more or thicker I don’t know).

I have naturally wavy hair and it looks nice on shampoo day, but as from the next day the volume disappears, curls flatten and I have no volume.

It’s hard for me to be objective so I would like outside opinions to know if I’m being too obsessive about the way my hair looks and if there are ways it could be improved:

- does my hair look “problematic” to you in some way? Ie: Too thin, dry

- what cut would you recommend? I think a bob cut looks best but I’m trying to let it grow, would love long hair again.

- any recommendations on styling/routine are very welcome

My current routine:

- shampoo twice a week using Furterer Curbicia (2 rounds and leave in 3 min during 2nd round)

- hair mask once a week using Furterer “sublime karité hydrating mask”

- I always air dry and crunch my hair with Furterer “sublime curl” styling cream

FYI :

- I had a hair diagnosis done in a hair institute: said my hair is oily at the roots and dry on the lengths, and a bit fine.

- I’ve been taking iron and hair/nail supplements for the last 3 years, I don’t know if my ferritine levels could be part of the problem (currently 47ng/ml)

Feel free to ask any questions or redirect me to a better subreddit.

Thanks! 🫶🏻
