UK to USA with 2 cautions?

Hi everyone, I am based in the UK, a UK resident and am looking to go to the USA in September.

When at uni I received 2 police cautions on the same day for possession class A and class B drugs.

I have been in employment all my adult life and own a flat and clear record otherwise.

I really want to go to the USA. I know an ESTA is out of the question.

What are the chances of me getting accepted for a visa with a waiver? Anyone been in a similar position?

I’ve seen on Reddit to maybe try get an ESTA and be truthful and see if it gets rejected?
