What breed should be my first 4 hens be?
First time chicken keeper - long lurker! My wife and I are picking breeds for our 4 hen flock.
Our #1 priority is friendliness! We have four young boys, plan on handling them frequently and would love to have some hens that want to be on or near us 😂
I’ve heard Orpingtons and Brahmas are the go to for this! Any other thoughts? Thanks!
