Skincare help!

30F. I quit the pill about a year ago. While on it, my skin was PERFECT. I’ve always had dry/sensitive skin so when I found a good product, I generally use it for a long time. I have most recently (for about the last year or longer) been using the Neutrogena hydro boost w/ HA gel cleanser, good molecules OR the ordinary HA serum, hydro boost water cream moisturizer (at night), and hydro boost city shield HA spf (day moisturizer). To say I love the hydro boost line is an understatement lol.

I have recently switched/some products due to what I think is hormonal acne. I started using Curology gentle cleanser (lightly foaming face wash) and neutrogena evenly clear adapalene gel 0.1%. still using the same moisturizers as above.

I started using these new products on Monday; today is Friday- and holy crap my face burns! Around my eyes and on my cheeks. I don’t want to abruptly stop or switch to something else but I’m at a loss. Can someone with experience please offer some advice? Willing to spend more money on products if the ones I’m using are “too cheap,” or just in general for better products/ingredients.
