How many times a client has heard a specific song in my class

Hello! I teach two levels of pilates classes (level 1 in the morning, level 2 in the evening). I create a new sequence of moves for each class and will sometimes reuse songs from my AM class in my PM class if it has a good beat/works well for a given sequence. About 85% of my students per class are new clients, or non-regulars. The other 15% of my students take both of my AM and PM classes on the same day and also throughout the week. I don't want to bore my regulars with the same music over and over again.

I'm trying to create a spreadsheet that shows: Name of student, how many times they heard "x" song. Even better if I could also see the date each time they heard the song. For ex. Milo heard "Call Me Maybe" on 1/2, 1/29, 4/12. This will give me a better idea of whether I'm using a song too frequently and need to take a break from it.

Class data I have access to and might be pertinent: date of class, student

Playlist data I have access to: Song title / artist / date of class song was used.

I have tried creating a pivot table, but could not figure out how to associate a client's name to the song.
