Can anyone help me narrow down what is causing a reaction?

Our take

Are you experiencing mysterious reactions on your lips? Join RachelPR2202 as she seeks help deciphering the causes behind her painful lip reactions that have developed over the past two years. Despite her best efforts to identify triggering ingredients, she’s stumped. Products like Summer Fridays lip butter, Aquaphor, and Jeffree Star liquid lips leave her lips burning, red, and blistered, while others like Old Henriksen’s Pout Peptide Lip Treatment, Vaseline, and MAC lip products seem to be safe. Can anyone help her pinpoint what's going on?

Over the past two or so years, I’ve developed a weird reaction to some products I put on my lips. I can’t narrow down similar ingredients that would be causing it. My lips will burn, turn red and blister a bit, right along the border of my lips especially. Then over the next few days, they’ll peel and burn.

Ones that DO cause a reaction:

• Summer Fridays lip butter (specifically the vanilla beige)

• Aquaphor

• Jeffree Star liquid lips

Ones that DON’T cause a reaction:

• Old Henriksen Pout Peptide Lip Treatment (I have several colours and they all seem to be fine)

• Vaseline

• Mac Lipstick and Lip liners

I’m stumped!
