Finding the right hair styling tool can be a game-changer, especially for fragile, fine, curly hair. You’re weighing two popular options: a blow dry brush and a straightener. Each has its pros and cons—while the straightener offers fine styling with less breakage, it can cause long-term damage due to high heat. On the other hand, the blow dry brush is gentler, using air for healthier styling, but its comb design may lead to some breakage.
I've been trying to find a good styling that would not completely damage my hair.so far I've come down to two option either a blow dry brush or a Straightener but I'm confused on which one to buy.
I have fragile fine curly hair so please help me decide what to get.
Also please suggest some brands for either one of them and heat protectants.
From my side here are advantages and disadvantages I see from both the tools.
STRAIGHTENER
Advantages:
Fine styling
Less breakage as it's not a comb like design
Disadvantages:
- It's gonna have long term damage since it's strong and uses heat
BLOW DRY BRUSH
Advantages:
Better for hair cause it uses air
Healthier for long term
Disadvantages:
- Would cause so breakage cause of the comb design
