I tried heatless curls with foam rollers and didn’t expect it to work this well??

Our take

This weekend, I decided to dive into the world of heatless curls using foam rollers, and let me tell you, I was pleasantly surprised by the results! It took just 15 minutes to roll my hair up after washing, and I left them in overnight—no heat involved. The curls turned out beautifully defined and held surprisingly well. I'm sharing some snapshots: the rollers in, right after taking them out, and how they looked the next day.

So I randomly tried doing heartless curls this weekend using those foam rollers(the soft, squishy kind), and I’m honestly kind of shocked by how well it turned out.

It only took me about 15 minutes to put them in after washing my hair, and then I just slept in them overnight. No heat at all, which I love because I’ve been trying to avoid damage.

I’m sharing a few pics:

What it looks like with the rollers in

Right after I took them out in the morning

After adding a bit of hair oil

How it looked the next day

And my natural hair for reference

I didn’t except the curls to hold this well or look this defined without heat.

Now I’m curious—do you guys think heatless curls can actually replace curling iron? Or are hot tools still way better in your experience?
