Orbital fat loss with lash serum
Our take
Looking to preserve your eyes while achieving those luscious summer lashes? Many beauty enthusiasts swear by a 6-month on, 6-month off schedule with lash serums like Grande Lash to avoid orbital fat loss. It’s rumored that taking breaks can help maintain the delicate balance around your eyes while still enjoying the benefits of longer lashes. If you’re considering diving back into your lash serum routine, it’s worth seeking sources or confirmation on this approach to ensure your peepers stay fabulous and healthy.
I swear I remember seeing something where you can avoid orbital fat loss by taking breaks with lash serum. I used grande lash last summer and took all winter off. Kinda 6 months on/6months off schedule. I want to get another tube but can anyone confirm that this will preserve my eyes or point me to the source where I may have seen this?
I want long lashes for summer again lol.

- The best eyelash serumI’m looking for an eyelash serum that does not cause orbital fat loss, which I realize is a difficult ask. I’ve heard that with some eyelash serums, if you stop using it your eyelashes will fall out. I would like an eyelash serum that avoids that. I’d also like one that makes my eyelashes longer AND thicker. If you have an eyelash serum that fits this criteria, please comment!! submitted by /u/Ok_Bodybuilder7448 [link] [comments]
- Lash serum side effect to reduce hooded eyes?Since orbital fat loss is a somewhat common side effect of lash serums, would that side effect potentially help with extremely hooded eyes (Ex. in someone older where it is/is almost impacting their vision and an eyelid lift would normally be considered)? Would the aging effect of orbital fat loss be extreme enough to make it "not worth it"? + would the exess skin still affect their eyes? I'm very curious because orbital fat loss as a side effect does seem like it could be beneficial in some ways but since it is usually an unexpected side effect it's typically negative, and most before/after photos show people who never had hooded eyes. Sorry if this post veers into too "medical", but very curious if anyone has any input! submitted by /u/FailNo5694 [link] [comments]
- Does The Ordinary lash serum cause side effects? Has anyone tried it?I know a common side effect of many lash serums is orbital fat loss. i already struggle slightly with hollow undereyes and so I avoid lash serums because of this. I read that The Ordinary lash serum does not have the ingredient that causes this side effect, so I purchased it to try out. However, I still haven’t used it on my lashes because I’m very paranoid about the orbital fat loss side effect that many other serums have😭 I just want to make sure, the Ordinary lash serum will not cause this side effect right? Has anyone tried this product yet? submitted by /u/sunnybeamsse [link] [comments]
