Self tan question

Our take

Hey fabulous friends! So, here’s a relatable self-tan dilemma: I recently tried a self-tan oil for the first time, and to my surprise, it actually worked! However, I’m now facing the reality of patchy areas, especially on my ankles and wrists. I’m curious—should I be removing old self-tan before reapplying, or do I just layer on top? How long does this glow usually last, anyway? If you’re removing it, what’s your secret? I’ve tried soap and a scrub, but now I’m just a patchy

Hi this is potentially a stupid question- but I tried out a self tan oil the other day for the first time and I truthfully didn’t expect it to work and it did. So now I have my first ever fake tan and it looks not bad considering I had no faith

But now it’s like lifting on my ankles and wrists, and so I’m wondering- do yall remove old self tan or wait for it to come off before applying new? Or just apply on top? How long does it usually last?

If y’all are removing it , may I ask how?? Because I used soap and a body scrub and now I’m just patchy af
