Blowout hair tool that doesn't easily get tangled in thick hair?
Our take
Looking for the perfect blowout tool can feel like navigating a fashion runway in stilettos—challenging but worth it when you find the right fit! After treating myself to the Shark Glam for my birthday, I was excited but quickly noticed it tangles in my thick hair, even when I work in smaller sections. I'm on the hunt for a blowout tool that glides through my locks without the drama. Does anyone have recommendations for a brush head with fewer bristles that might do the trick?
I just treated myself to the Shark Glam for my birthday, and I love it...mostly. The Glossi blowout tool easily gets tangled in my thick hair, even when I try to use it in smaller sections. Is anyone aware of a hair tool that I can use for a blowout look that doesn't easily tangle? Perhaps a brush head that has less bristles? TIA!

- Desperate for hair tool recommendationsHello, everyone I need so much help with hair tool recommendations. I feel like the amount of options is frying my brain. I'm looking for a blow dry brush (something that dries from wet and comes out straight) as well as a high speed blow dryer used with a blow out brush. I've been bombarded with so many ads from TYMO, WavyTalk, Shark, L'ange, Drybar etc and would love to know your experiences with these brands or others you've tried. A little bit about my hair: I have FRIZZY high porosity 2c/3a curls that are pretty damaged at the ends. On the longer side and medium thickness. I wash my hair once a week in the morning (usually Sunday), let it air dry for hours, and then straighten it (I've never found a way to embrace my curls). The whole process has gotten really tedious and I'm looking to make it quicker or more efficient. Any advice/experiences/recommendations would be so great! - Elle Woods Blowout? So I work at Ulta Beauty and have accumulated a good chunk of points, planning to save them all for either a big shopping spree or expensive hair tool. Since I'm someone who doesn't typically do much with their hair outside of the shower and the salon, I felt getting a fancy hair tool probably wasn't the best bet for me. But recently I've been wanting to start blowing out my hair at home, specifically to get the look of Elle Woods' iconic blowout. Since my expertise is more in skincare and makeup, I was hoping someone who's good with hair would be able to tell me what I'll need to achieve that look at home? Specifically tools, products, and general technique. I'm willing to buy an expensive hair tool, so if anyone has recommendations please lmk! Dyson, Shark, Drybar, etc. For reference: I have 2B waves and high porosity hair! submitted by /u/TangerineSpritzz [link] [comments]
- I need a hair tool that gives me the best hair ( fine hair )I live in a super humid place and my hair (slightly wavy) gets puffy FAST and loses shape right after styling. My roots are the worst — only a straightener makes them look sleek, otherwise they puff up immediately. I have the Shark FlexStyle and a Remington straightener but honestly… I’m not impressed. My hair still ends up puffy. I just want smooth, sleek, “salon blowout” hair that actually lasts all day with minimal effort. I work out 4x/week so I need something quick and efficient. I don’t care about the price — I just want something that works: tools or ONE good product (not 10 pls 😭). Dyson? GHD? What actually keeps hair from puffing in humidity?? submitted by /u/Ferielbch [link] [comments]
