Waxing hair left over
Our take
Hey,
I have been waxing for about a month or two now,
first i tried hard wax but that took too long because most of the time i wasnt even done after like an hour or two because of the small strips i can do with it.
Today i tried Softwax for the first time and it is definitely way faster and i can see myself doing that instead but i noticed that even after waxing my legs there are still ALOT of tiny hair left, i dont think i would be able to tweeze all of them without it taking a day or longer.
I apply the wax with a wax roller in hair growth and then pull against hair growth with strips, as for my arms i dont really have proplems with it there, maybe because my leg hair are thicker?
I exfoliated my legs like a day ago but didnt use that much stuff prewax, for afterwax i use aloe vera, any idea on what i can do to get the rest of the hair gone?

- Waxing? Hair too fine to pick upI have extremely fine vellus hair on my arms. It’s not even blonde it’s like white or translucent tbh. It is so fine and I find that waxing removes the hair but only by breaking the hairs and I’m left with tiny fine hair stubble. My leg hair is very fine everywhere except the inner front of my calves where it is still very fine but less so. I hate shaving and want to wax, I wax my pits and kini line and it’s perfect but these two spots I struggle with. I’ve been waxing myself for years and have a good technique down. I pull parallel not up. I use the flamingo brand pre waxed strips. Would sugaring or hard wax work better? submitted by /u/Longjumping-Winner53 [link] [comments]
- Waxing TipsHi everyone! I just started to wax my legs and underarms with a roll on waxer and had some issues. I cannot for the life of me get all of a sections hair in one pull. I have wax residue all over me and can never seem to get it off. I applied baby power before each pull and have tried to go in the right direction. Are they any tricks that can help me get a more efficient wax at home? I’ve been watching a lot of videos but I can’t seem to figure out what I’m doing wrong! - Horrid influx of ingrown hair post waxinghi! f18 here, just like the title says, i got waxed after around 4/5 ish months last month, and my previous waxing exp was also really bad- led to bumpy hair in my calves area, and ingorwn hair in my inner thighs, but this time it was actually SO bad, i have bumpy hair growing all over my legs and my inner thighs now have spots from previous ingrown hair and more just seem to keep coming, in my arms theres nothing wrong but i also have 2 hairs coming from one area in y legs and pits. This has absolutely broken any sense of comfort i had in my body i feel so disgusting and ugly, but i dont know how to get rid of them, theres no set 'cleansing routine' i follow pre and post waxing because ever since i started, which was like 3rd grade, this has never happened. is it my doing? am i going to the wrong waxing people? should i try epillating instead? (i do it for my face usually), or shaving? (never tried thinking hair would come out rough. i could really use any advice on how i can get rid of these spots, ingrown and bumpy hair, and the 2 hair in one sithc, please. submitted by /u/curiouscaterpillar44 [link] [comments]
- Wax or epilator?Hi!! I started waxing when I was 12. I tried waxing about 4 or 5 times, but the pain was awful. I cried, I kicked, and since then I've been using a razor. But I'm fed up with the thickness of the hair, the increasing amount, and the hassle of shaving 3 times a week. My mother had a Braun epilator that she used (before anything else, before we both use the epilator, we make sure to thoroughly clean the heads). I think I'm not risking myself by saying that the epilator is from the 1990s. It's a great epilator, but I can only do from the middle of my leg to a little above the knee. Ankles, bikini line, left side of my thighs are hell. I don't want to buy a new epilator; if I use one, I want to use this one. But I'm wondering: do you think it's better to try waxing again or try to get more used to the epilator? And if I'm going to get used to the machine, are there any tips to make the hair removal process less painful? Thank you! submitted by /u/Grungerock_lover [link] [comments]
